What happens when the NSCS collaborates with the Chicago Bronze English Handbell Ensemble? An exhilarating concert of holiday favorites, of course! We are excited to welcome back the Chicago Bronze and their director, Andrea Handley, to "ring in" the holiday season. The concert will include Benjamin Britten's Ceremony of Carols for SATB with harpist Ben Melsky, as well as Andrea Handley's new arrangement of three joyous carols.

What happens when the NSCS gets inspired by Artemisia, Chicago's most versatile women's trio? A concert that celebrates female musical leadership! Music Director Julia Davids will be joined by a trio of guest conductors, Anne Heider, Felicia Patton, and Tierra Whetstone, for a program of music by all-female composers, including a commissioned work by Chicago's Diana Lawrence. Featuring the Artemesia Vocal Trio: Diana Lawrence, Alexandra Olsavsky, and Kaitlin Foley.

What happens when beloved British composer John Rutter turns 75 years old? The NSCS hosts a musical birthday bash! Join us for a celebration of some of the works of John Rutter, including his Requiem, featuring Sharon R. Peterson, organist, and guest instrumentalists.
